Dr. Avij Dhuppe Secretary of Help Medical Foundation and Research Center (HMFARC) born in 1991 at Udgir, a small village on the outskirts of Latur, with a small rivulet separating the village from main township. He studied in the local Marathi Medium School. When he was young, he came across a patient Mr. Suraj Sagar who was suffering from blood cancer. Dr. Avij Dhuppe wanted to help him and he reached out to his mother and expressed his willingness to help Suraj Sagar. His mother expressed her misery that how can we take the treatment as we hardly earn our bread and present medical treatment is so costlier and it needs a large amount. Since then, that small boy from village dreamed to be doctor to help needy, when he grows. On the very same day, young Dr. Avij decided to dedicate his entire life to treat poor people suffering with cancer. 27 years later, on 1st Dec 2019, Dr. Avij Dhuppe started his journey towards fulfilling his dream of fighting against cancer with the inauguration of ‘Help Medical Foundation and Research Center’, a National, social, secular, NGO which stands committed for cancer control at Latur district, Maharashtra.
